What Loopdraw costs
The PDF editor and every conversion are free, with no account. Plus is $12 for three months or $43.99 a year and adds signing, Bates numbering, logos and AI answers.
- 3 months — $12. Enough to get a job done, and to stop when it is.
- 12 months — $43.99. The same thing, at the price of about ten months.
What is on each side
The editor
Type on the page in the document’s own font, draw on it, reorder it, fill in forms. No limit on how many documents, no account, no card.
Free: No limit. Plus: No limit.
Templates
Hundreds of templates are free to open, edit and download. Plus adds the premium set in every category: gradient designs, photos in shapes, and outlined and shadowed type, marked with a crown in the library.
Free: Hundreds. Plus: All, with the premium set.
Every conversion
Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML and PDF/A, in and out. No browser has an office suite in it, so these 6 run on a machine we rent by the minute — and they are free. Each person can have a couple running at once, so nobody can take the machine from everybody else; there is no count of how many you may do.
Free: yes. Plus: yes.
Every other tool
Merging, splitting, compressing, repairing, page numbers, headers and footers, cropping, images both ways, reading a scan, passwords, watermarking and redaction — they need nothing but your browser.
Free: yes. Plus: yes.
Sign a PDF
Draw or type a signature, keep it, and put it on any page. It is drawn in your browser onto your file, which does not leave it.
Free: no. Plus: yes.
Bates numbering
Stamp a prefix and a fixed-width number on every page of a bundle — ABC000001, ABC000002 — for exhibits and disclosure. It never repeats and never restarts unless you tell it to.
Free: no. Plus: yes.
Logos in any colour
Well-known brand logos, placed in any colour — and your team’s own logos and colours, if you have a team.
Free: no. Plus: yes.
Ask about a document
Summarise a document, pull out its dates and amounts, list what somebody has to do, or ask it a question and get an answer with the page it came from. Up to 200 questions a day, which is a ceiling against scripts rather than a ration. The one thing here with no free tries: every answer costs money each time it is asked for.
Free: no. Plus: 200 a day.
Your files stay on your machine
Everything but the conversions is done in this browser. The conversions send the file to our service and delete it afterwards; asking about a document sends its text to a language model to be answered, and nothing else does.
Free: yes. Plus: yes.
An account
Free, and only asked for where it means something: Plus belongs to somebody, so signing, Bates numbering, logos and questions ask who you are, and Unlock asks because taking protection off a document is worth a name against it. The other 25 free tools never ask.
Free: Not needed. Plus: The plan is on it.
