1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply to everyone who uses Loopdraw — the website, the PDF editor and every tool on it, signed in or not. By using Loopdraw you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Loopdraw, and old enough where you live to accept these terms yourself, or have a parent or guardian accept them for you. You may not use Loopdraw if the law, including US, UK or Canadian sanctions, forbids you from doing so.
If you use Loopdraw on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. What Loopdraw is
Loopdraw is a set of tools for editing, signing, annotating and converting documents. Most tools work entirely in your browser. The editor sends a copy of a PDF to our server so its text can be read, and that copy is deleted within 24 hours; the office conversions send the file to our conversion service, which deletes it once it has answered. Saved projects are kept in your own browser. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy at loopdraw.app/privacy.
3. Your documents and your responsibility
You keep every right you have in the documents you open, and you are solely responsible for them: what they contain, what you change, and what you do with the result. You give us only the permission we need to store and process them so the service works for you.
You must only open, edit, sign or convert documents you have the right to work with. You are responsible for getting any permission, consent or licence that is needed.
4. Things you must not do
You must not use Loopdraw, or anything made with it, to:
- forge, falsify or alter a document to deceive anyone — for example certificates, identity documents, tickets, invoices, receipts, bank statements, pay stubs, tax forms, contracts, government or court papers;
- sign a document in someone else’s name, or make a signature look like someone else’s, without their permission;
- commit or help with fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, impersonation, money laundering or any other crime;
- pass yourself off as, or suggest you are endorsed by, a company, brand or person you are not;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, including removing watermarks, copyright notices or technical protection you are not entitled to remove;
- open or unlock files you are not authorised to access;
- make or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or exploits anyone;
- attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits or payments.
5. Brand logos
The Logos panel offers logos of well-known companies. The drawings come from the Simple Icons project (released under CC0), but every brand name and logo remains a trademark of its owner. Loopdraw is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any of them, and offering a logo gives you no right to use it.
You are responsible for making sure your use of a logo is lawful where you are. Using one only to refer honestly to the company — for instance “we accept Visa”, or showing where your app can be downloaded — is often permitted (in the US as nominative fair use, in the UK where it is in line with honest practices). Canadian law is stricter, and can forbid uses that damage the value of a brand even when they are truthful. Using a logo to make a document look official, to suggest a partnership that does not exist, or to sell goods as theirs is not allowed anywhere. Many brands publish guidelines, including the colours their logo may appear in; follow them.
6. Electronic signatures
A document signed with Loopdraw has no special legal standing because of it. Electronic signatures are generally recognised under the US ESIGN Act and state laws based on UETA, the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000 and UK eIDAS, and Canada’s federal and provincial electronic commerce laws — but whether a particular signature is valid depends on the document, the people signing and the law that applies.
Some documents cannot be signed electronically, or need witnesses or a specific kind of signature — often including wills, some property transfers, powers of attorney and certain court or government filings. It is your responsibility to check before relying on an electronic signature.
7. No responsibility for how Loopdraw is used
Loopdraw is a tool. We do not review, approve or monitor the documents people make with it, and we are not responsible for them. Anyone who uses Loopdraw for anything illegal or in breach of these terms does so entirely on their own responsibility, and, to the fullest extent the law allows, Loopdraw, its owners and team are not liable for that use or its consequences.
8. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and compensate Loopdraw, its owners and team for any claim, loss, damage or cost (including reasonable legal fees) that arises from your documents, your use of Loopdraw, or your breaking these terms or the law.
9. Copyright and trademark complaints
We respect intellectual property and respond to notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the equivalent rules in the UK and Canada. If you believe something on Loopdraw infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to hello@loopdraw.app that includes:
- your name, address, phone number and email, and your physical or electronic signature;
- what work or mark you say is infringed;
- where the material is, in enough detail for us to find it;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
10. Suspension and reporting
We may remove content, suspend or close accounts — including the accounts of repeat infringers — and refuse service where we reasonably believe these terms or the law are being broken. We may cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.

11. No warranty
Loopdraw is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make edits and conversions faithful, but, to the extent the law allows, we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a result will be exactly right. Check important documents before you rely on them, and keep your own copy of the original.
12. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Loopdraw is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost data, profits or business. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing.
Some places do not allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
13. If you are a consumer
If you use Loopdraw for personal rather than business purposes, you keep every right the consumer protection law where you live gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away. That includes your statutory rights in the UK (for example under the Consumer Rights Act 2015), your rights under the consumer protection laws of your Canadian province (including Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act), and your rights under US state law. Where a term here conflicts with those rights, those rights win.
14. Paid plans
Every Plus tool can be tried for free before buying: with a free account, the editor on 3 documents and each office conversion 3 times. Free tries are counted per account, are not transferable, and may be changed for new tries in future. Plus is billed as shown on the pricing page at the time you buy. Plus for teams is billed per seat for a year at a time by the team’s owner, who is responsible for the team, for whom they invite, and for the team’s brand kit; team members have Plus while they are in the team and the team’s term is running, and owners and admins can see each member’s usage counts. What is included, and how renewal and cancellation work, is described there and at checkout. Any right to cancel or to a refund that the law where you live gives you applies in addition to these.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and for a significant change we will give reasonable notice, for example on the site or by email. Using Loopdraw after a change takes effect means you accept the new version. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
